Scrumpy Jack

Scrumpy Jack was first made in 1727 by the Symonds cider family. There's something timeless about Scrumpy Jack - tart apple and straw bales evoke feelings of the countryside.

Scrumpy Jack is full of flavour. It is made with specially selected apples, such as Dabinett and Chisel Jersey, giving it a mouth-wateringly crisp green apple taste with a refreshingly dry finish. It has a long, dry, almost sherry-like aroma.

Sweeter than beer, but without the taste of syrupy soda pop, Scrumpy Jack quenches thirst, delivers a polite kick, and stands alone or goes well with almost any bar food or snack.

Scrumpy Jack is a brand of dry cider with 6% alcohol content. It used to have a more robust ABV of 7.5%. It is currently produced in Hereford by H. P. Bulmer, a subsidiary of Heineken International.
